Cinderella by Kattreya Scheurer-Smith
Directed by Kattreya Scheurer-Smith

The Tillage Hall will be our home once again In January 2022 for Waterbeach Theatre Company's annual pantomime. Of necessity this will be on a much smaller scale than our usual pantomimes but it will be a 'small-sized panto, with full-sized fun!'

Welcome to Castlemore where we meet our beautiful Cinderella, oh she does have a hard life, constantly cooking and cleaning for her evil step-sisters Sharon and Tracy! However, it's not all bad, of course she has her trusty best friend Buttons! The Prince has returned from his year abroad and his parents need him to find a wife! Oh deary me, that's just not his style! Who is this mystery girl he meets in the woods? Enter our Fairy Godmother, and it's a magical panto we have! Oh yes it is!

How to find Tillage Hall

Tillage Hall, Waterbeach CB25 9NU

As you turn into Waterbeach from the A10, continue along Car Dyke Road. Turn right just past the bus shelter towards the recreation ground and car park.

Grown women, aching feet and heaving bosoms!
Follow the Cheshire Cats team as they speed walk their way to fundraising success in the London Moonwalk. Hilary, Siobhan, Yvonne, Vicky and Maggie are attempting to walk 13 miles across the capital in record time in their decorated bras and posh new trainers, but the 6th member of the team doesn't seem to meet the physical criteria! Cheshire Cats is a cross between a girls night out and a real mission to support a cause close to many hearts, with plenty of laughs and a few tears along the way.

This amateur production of “Cheshire Cats” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH LTD a Concord Theatrical Company

November 2022

A Bunch of Amateurs by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman
Directed by Julie Petrucci

- The Cast - 4 women, 3 men
Jefferson Steel
Dorothy Nettle
Jessica Steel
Nigel Dewbury
Mary Plunkett
Denis Dobbins
Lauren Bell

A fading Hollywood star has taken on the role of King Lear thinking that the production will be in Stratford upon Avon with the RSC rather than in the tiny village of Nether Stratford with a bunch of amateurs. This situation speaks for itself as an opportunity for much hilarity and Ian Hislop and his co-writer, Nick Newman, do not let us down. Ian Hislop needs no introduction and Nick Newman has written for Spitting Image and The Harry Enfield Show. Originally written as a film with Burt Reynolds as the has-been and chosen as the Royal Film Performance that year, the script was then adapted for the stage. The film is quite amusing but the stage version is much better.

Dates to be announced.
